Jacqueline Martin

Jacqueline is a business owner providing consultation to behavioral health, non-profit, and government agencies. She is newer to the Pacific Northwest having moved here in 2019, but it was love at first sight. She has been providing strategic planning, quality improvement, and program evaluation consultation for over 15 years. She has worked with child and youth centers, adult behavioral health centers, and opioid treatment centers to facilitate them becoming CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Jacqueline, additionally, works as a CARF accreditation surveyor.

When Jacqueline worked for the Florida Department of Health, she led strategic planning and Community Health Improvement Assessment and Planning for three counties. She worked to implement teen health clinic hours, reducing barriers to health access, increasing vaccination rates, and disease intervention to lower STI, Hepatitis, and HIV transmission rates.

She is on the Washington State Department of Health Deeming Committee, Volunteer Vendor Coordinator for Berry Dairy Days 2022 and 2023, an active member of the Burlington and Mount Vernon Chambers of Commerce, serves on the NACCHO (National Association for City and County Health Official) Research and Evaluation Advisory Workgroup, and presented her work at three national conferences in 2019.

She lives in Skagit County with her husband, two dogs, and two cats. She loves doing and teaching yoga and doing Brazilian jiu jitsu, in which she will be testing for her brown belt in 2023. Additionally, she is new to riding motorcycles but loves the rides through Skagit County.
